No.9 Beijing Subway Line starts from Guogongzhuang in Fengtai District on the southwest of the city and ends at Baishiqiao, connecting with No.4 Subway Line. Total length of the line is 16.503 km, wholly underground, with 14 stations and 1 maintenance section. Total investment for the project is about 8.8 billion yuan. Construction of the line is to be started at the beginning of 2007 and put into operation in July 2011.
